Fabienne In-Albon is a woman who doesn’t just pursue her dreams – she lives them. Born in Zug in 1986, she first stepped onto a golf course at the age of ten. The beginning was anything but easy: her talent in the traditional sense lay not in her golfing skills, but in her unwavering ambition, determination and discipline. At fifteen, however, she knew: I want to be a professional golfer. This dream took her through highs and lows, across continents – and ultimately to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
The path to get there was anything but straight. As a teenager, she won eight Swiss championship titles, became European vice-champion and played her way into the ranks of the world’s best junior players. But she also learned early on how to deal with setbacks: health problems, anorexia, three slipped discs. Instead of giving up, she fought her way back – first in Australia, where she reconnected with the world’s elite alongside her sports management studies, and later as a professional on the Ladies European Tour.
Her greatest sporting moment: qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. A childhood dream that became reality through discipline, focus and unwavering resilience. Along the way, she also learned to take responsibility – not only for herself, but also as a leader within her team, which accompanied her as a professional golfer.
But she also knows when it’s time to strike out in a new direction. In 2017, after further health challenges, she ended her professional career – and started her second career: helping people and teams to reach their full potential.
With her company Fabienne In-Albon Milestones GmbH, she now applies the principles of top-level sport to the context of business and life. Her four core pillars – clarity, courage, focus and resilience – form the foundation of her work as a personality and team developer, keynote speaker and presenter.
Fabienne stands for authenticity, passion, perseverance and measurable results. She knows from her own experience what it’s like to perform under extreme pressure, achieve big goals – and still remain human.
